Ian Cooper - Recording Engineer

Ian Cooper is an engineer with extremely musical ears. His engineering credits include a platinum ARIA award and he has worked on recordings with James Morrison, Deni Hines,

Tommy Emmanuel, Simon Tedeschi, Melinda Schneider, Sydney 2000 Olympic Opening Ceremony, the Disney Channel and Discovery Channel.

Ian is resident recording engineer at James Morrison Studios, and has a small studio at his home in North Sydney. He can also work at a studio of your choice and lend his ears to your project there.

Ian has a collection of valve and solid state compressors and mic pre amps and a collection of vintage ribbon microphones that are just the tools for recording Jazz and anything with a groovy pre 1960's sound.

The home recording studio is ideal for trios, voice overs, overdubs and of course Ian's trade-mark one man string section.

Both Ian's and James Morrison Studios have the latest Pro Tools systems, and jobs can be easily transferred between them if required.
