Ian Cooper's violin blender results.
The signal path for this crazy experiment is pickup and mic into blender, then into wireless transmitter.
Version 1 - L.R.Baggs Duet II guitar blender
I decided to try the steel string guitar ribbon transducer that comes with the blender kit under the bridge of the violin.

The guitar transducer is longer than the violin bridge and you can see the overhang on the right side of the bridge. The white square under the tailpiece is the baggs microphone mounted in a foam block. Eventually it should be inside the instrument.
results:
The guitar pickup sounds very clear, but too loud to balance with the microphone sound. The signal is still good enough to consider using as a starting point, plenty of meat and tops.
Version 2
Next I tried the baggs violin pickup into the preamp. The signal from this pickup is too hot and distorts the front end of the preamp. I need to pad the input of the preamp with some resistors. I will try some values and report back.
